Kediyoor’s LORDS International Residential School (CBSE), Udupi, gleamed with festive joy as students celebrated Deepavali – the Festival of Lights with great enthusiasm and happiness. The celebration began with a special talk on the significance of Deepavali, reminding everyone of the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. Students filled the campus with vibrant festive energy through a graceful dance performance that captured the essence of the festival. Grades 3 to 9 showcased their creativity in a Gudu Deepa Making Competition, organized in four creative groups under the guidance of their group masters. The lower grades joyfully crafted colorful Gudu Deepas and greeting cards, while the Kindergarten children, along with their teachers, created beautiful drawings and paintings of diyas and Gudu Deepas, adding charm to the celebration. The event radiated joy, creativity, and unity, spreading the true spirit of Deepavali — light, love, and happiness for all.
