The Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on 26th July 2025 at Lords Residential School at 9:00 AM. The assembly was conducted by the students of Class 3.
The importance of the day was highlighted by Mr. Kiran, who paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the soldiers during the Kargil War in their pursuit of victory. He praised the courage and bravery imbibed in our soldiers and cited the example of Captain Vikram Batra, who fought valiantly. He also delivered a powerful message: “Keep the flame of patriotism in our hearts.”
Students of Classes 3, 4, and 5 performed a skit conveying the message of courage and sacrifice shown by our soldiers. An outstanding dance was also performed by the students, showcasing the spirit of patriotism.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Florina. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Kiran and Mrs. Veena.
