International Tiger Day was celebrated on 29th July. The theme was “Call for action.” It was chosen to raise awareness about the threats Tiger’s face such as poaching, habitat loss and human wildlife conflict and also to encourage coordinated efforts to save Tigers and their habitats. The program highlighted the need for global efforts to save the endangered tiger species.
