Ms. Myrtle L.F. Lewis
Ms. Myrtle L.F. Lewis has dedicated her life to education, with a career spanning over 38 years. Born in Solapur, Maharashtra, she grew up in Shahabad, Karnataka, where she completed her schooling and college education. Her passion for learning led her to achieve a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Bellary Dharwad University, ranking fourth in her class, and a Master of Science degree from Gulbarga University, specializing in Organic Chemistry.
Throughout her journey, Ms. Myrtle has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious President’s Guide Certificate from former President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
She began her teaching career in 1984 and has since then served as:
1. Chemistry Teacher at National English School, Rajajinagar, Bangalore
2. Headmistress at St. Mary’s English Medium School, Udupi
3. Principal of Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva
At Don Bosco School, she motivated staff and students alike during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, embracing modern technology for online teaching. Under her guidance, the school obtained CBSE board affiliation for the second time and upgraded from secondary to senior secondary level. Her tenure at St. Mary’s School was equally transformative. With her meticulous planning and visionary leadership, she oversaw the transition from the State Board to the CBSE curriculum in 2013, setting the school on a path of global competitiveness. Now, Ms. Myrtle L.F. Lewis brings her wealth of experience and passion for education to Kediyoor’s Lords International Residential School as our Principal. Mr. Shivaprasad K. MA. B.Ed worked as the Headmaster of Flowers of Paradise Public School Malpe for 3 years, and has 18 years of teaching experience in ICSE School as a teacher and coordinator in 3 reputed schools of Udupi and Chikmagalur. As the vice principal of Lords International Residential School, I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of this reputed thriving institution where every child is unique and has an equal opportunity to exhibit his/her talents. LORDS takes keen interest in nurturing young minds and sensitizing them to know the culture, tradition, and history of our motherland.
